Jacob has been fantastic in developing our weekly training session plans in Season 1 and is a current player with the Albury Bandits. Jacob will be coordinating the team selection process, training session plans and training times. He will continue to be first point of contact for our Coaches and Managers in delivering the coaching program.

Renee Vanegmond will continue with our club as Head of Pathways and Mentoring. Part of our program seeks to provide opportunities for our players to aspire to achieve excellence and grow with new opportunities. Renee has an important role in ensuring we continue to develop our players according to best practice and align with NSW Basketball pathways. Renee will also assist in facilitating our mentoring program and be point of contact for the integration of school programs into our club.

We welcome Anthea onto the committee who brings with her some great organisation skills. Anthea provides a valuable connection with the Parents and Friends of our school community. Anthea takes over the roles from Jodie Gogoll who has done an exceptional job in Season 1.

Janine Haymes takes over the important role of communications. Should anyone hear of members not receiving correspondence please ensure they have downloaded Teamapp in the first instance and they have selected the appropriate age and team groups to ensure the appropriate communications are received.

We welcome Simone to her new role as club secretary. Any matters or concerns must come through the secretary which will then be dealt with by the club. Simone will be responsible for coordinating the Club Committee Meetings, minutes, coordinating dissemination of information from our jotform surveys and official correspondence.

Elisa Arcus continues Season 2 as our Club Registrar. Her role officially expanded last season to include being our delegated liaison with Albury Basketball Association.

Parents are strongly encouraged to be actively involved as much as they can with scoring and managing teams as this is really important for our players. If you want to be involved please make sure you advise your children’s coach and/or manager in Week 1.

Please remember to keep collecting orders and money for our Pie Drive. Final orders and money are due back by 5 August. They can be returned to Renee Vanegmond, Janine Haymes or Kathy Fletcher at the College. The order form is attached.
