As was mentioned in last week’s Basketball News, our very first fundraiser will be a Pie Drive sponsored by Holbrook Bakery. An order form has been attached to this message for you to print out and start collecting your orders. Order forms and money are due back on Monday 5 August – unfortunately no late orders can be accepted – with delivery scheduled for 16 August. Order forms (in a labelled envelope with the correct money) can be returned to Kathy Fletcher, Janine Haymes or Renee Vanegmond at the College. This is a great time to stock up on a variety of freshly made pies to see your family through the last of the cold weather!

On behalf of the Trinity Basketball Community, we would like to offer our thanks for all coaches who have volunteered their time to support our young players and our club this season. We are sad that some of our coaches will be unable to continue their coaching role next season and thank them for their time and effort during Season 1; thank you Scott Gogoll, Andrew Leary, Tom Ingram, Lorinda Peters and Simon Fairall. We also take this opportunity to welcome our new coaches for Season 2: Will Muir, Grant Lewis, Izac Hutchinson and Kirsty James.

There are still coaches and team managers required for some teams for Season 2, as well as some positions vacant on the committee. As a parent-led club we are rely on parents volunteering their time to keep the club running. We are still finalising the Season 2 team lists – thanks to everyone for your patience. We anticipate that we will be in a position to communicate this information and information about how and when to register players for Season 2 via Team App next Monday.
